Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina Shchenko is a Kyrgyzstani Muay Thay champion. She currently competes within the UFC Flyweight division. She is older than her fellow UFC Fighter and Former UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko's professional career in combat sport began in the form of a Muay Thai athlete. Shevchenko debuted on the IFMA World Championship Tournament in 2003. Shevchenko took the title after which she defeated Suzane Mller with a majority vote. Antonina kept her winning streak going by taking home bronze and silver medals in 2007 and 2008 respectively, as well as a Gold medal in the year 2011, and the year-end 2016 IFMA amateur Muay Thai world champion. Antonia began her professional journey back in 2003. Antonina has been awarded numerous titles including the World WKC K-1 Light Welterweight Champion, the Lion Fight Lightweight Championships and WMC and Phoenix FC World Championships. Antonina's final bout took place in the Phoenix Fighting Championship against Isa Tidblad Keskikangas. She was victorious by unanimous decision. Antonina shevchenko fought her first professional MMA fight in 2002 against Anara bayanova, who was fighting at the KFK Championship in Kyrgystan. She took the title with a TKO at the end of round 2 and was able to take home two fights following in the WXF X-Impact World Championships of 2003. She was awarded a 3-0 MMA record. Shevchenko stopped fighting to concentrate on the sport of kickboxing. Shevchenko returned against Anissahaddaoui at Phoenix FC 3. Shevchenko defeated Anissa by unanimous decision, and then she defeated Valerie Domergue in Phoenix FC 4. She was a part of the Dana White Contender Series 2018 after leaving the promotion. Shevchenko was able to take on Jaimelene Nievera as part of Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series. Antonina utilized superior strikes and striking skills to TKO Nievera by knees to her body while in the clinch. Following this victory, Antonina received a UFC contract. Antonina was given a UFC contract following her win. Shevchenko defeated Roxanne Modafferi by a split-decision fight after winning the first bout by a an unanimous decision. Antonina recovered from the loss to knock out Lucie Pudilova with a back-naked choke submission in the second round at UFC on ESPN Covington Vs. Lawler. She earned the bonus fight of the evening for this bout. Shevchenko was defeated by Katlyn as well as Andrea Lee in three of her subsequent fights. She fought Ariane Lipski but she was also defeated by Ariane. Antonina is currently being knocked out by Casey O'Neill in UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
